Does the 7800 xt nitro+ edition make sense at 570$?
(Btw the design is incredible)

you could spend a similar amount of money for a faster 4070 Super (and they overclock easily to 4070Ti levels)

Naah not IMO, $500 or less than it's worth it. The Sapphire Nitro models are nice but still like King said, can grab a 4070 super for bit more money and get more performance.

What is the difference between that card and the Pulse edition in terms of cost? Is As Rock available for purchase where you live? I find their cards are so quiet and small that they don't need Water cooling to run at full speed.

As others have mentioned, depending on what other options cost where you are it absolutely isn’t worth it. High-end factory OC models rarely are. Even if we forget the 4070S, something like the Pulse or Powercolor Hellhound will be, for most intents and purposes, the same in terms of usability for quite a bit less money. The Nitro is in no mans land - too expensive for a 7800 and too close to a 4070S to make sense.
Of course, if you REALLY like it and are dead set on it - why not, if it makes you happy. Just not a good value proposition.

The Pulse is usually a lower end product. Smaller cooler won't OC as far as a Nitro+ the Nitro+ uses samsung memory (Mostly) the Pulse usually has SK Hynix Vram not quite as good fans

Paying almost a 100 bucks more for POTENTIALLY better OC in the year of our Lord 2024 when overclocking is nearly dead as is is not a good proposition. At 525 I would say it might be a good play. At 570 it’s a meme. Either get a good base price model like the Hellhound or go up to 4070S.

It's not really similar, they are generally a good chunk more expensive.

It is still Sapphire so you get a nice OC and proper fan profile but As Rock make the quietest GPus.

I would go 7800XT. But if the 7900GRE is available how much is that?

I bought it for that much, but that was on release when neither the RTX 4070 Super nor 7900 GRE existed, and the RTX 4070 was at $600+.
Even then, it wasn't "worth it" in a price for performance sense when you consider that it's more than 10% more expensive than MSRP models, but it's not 10% faster.
That said, the premium models (and this goes for just about all of them and not just this one) aren't going to win in price for performance. They might offer better aesthetics, features, or cooling capability for better noise and thermal balances, or a better chance at not having coil whine (both of mine had/has next to none). Or they might overclock a hair more. So there's things there, but whether they matter enough to offset worse price/performance is up to you. Even if the RTX 4070 was "only" $30 more at the time I was purchasing, choosing it meant that was going to get a slightly slower (rasterization) product, a non-premium model, and less VRAM, so I still made the 7800 XT my choice. And it was my first time moving back to Radeon after a long time, so I decided to go with a good brand (and I had to RMA it, and Sapphire was entirely fantastic there so perhaps it was worth it).
With the 7900 GRE and RTX 4070 Super existing, and the RTX 4070 (vanilla) being cheaper, I'd say it's tougher to recommend now.
If you absolutely want the Nitro for how it looks or whatever, it's still fine and not awful, but there's better price/performance all around it if that's what matters most. I think the 7800 XT needs to be like $20 to $30 cheaper across the board to be a more attractive choice with the above existing. So I'd say how much does $20 to $30 matter to you?

I would get that and be happy. You basically get a 7900XT chip with 4GB less VRAM. If you want high refresh 1440P or 60+ FPS at 4K that would be the card to get. If you were already set on a 7800XT.

I second @kapone32. If there are no decent 4070S models close to the price the GRE is a no brainer here. The Pure has a good cooler, so you aren’t compromising there either.
